An Unknowable Essence
From a Baha’i perspective, it is impossible to conjecture what God’s daily routine might be, or if He even has one, as mortals define it! The Baha’i Writings state that the essence of God is absolutely inaccessible from our physical realm of existence. Therefore, His reality—what exactly He does on a daily basis-- is completely unknowable.
Moreover, all of humanity’s historical concepts of God through art and literature have been only figments of imagination and not at all reflective of God’s nature. Baha’is utterly reject such pantheistic and anthropomorphic representations of God.
In fact, the only knowledge we can possibly obtain about God—and this is a subordinate knowledge—comes to us through His divine Messengers, known as the Manifestations of God (e.g. Allah, Christ, and Baha’u’llah). Even attributes associated with God, such as “all-loving” and “all-forgiving” can only be derived from our limited understandings of forgiveness and love.
