Faith Forum
A Weekly Dialogue On Religion
Faith Forum is copyrighted to the Reno Gazette Journal (RGJ) and appears in their Sunday edition. Rajan Zed, President of the Universal Society of Hinduism, asks various Faiths to offer a 200 word explanation of topics. Brad Corbin, Sparks, is taking leave after writing weekly for over five years. Nancy Cecil has volunteered to do the writing weekly. They offer answers to the question asked each week by Rajan. The other Faiths' responses are in the Sunday issue of RGJ.

February 1, 2018, Rajan Zed sent photo with Director of Public Information, Carmel Moghbelpour Tripathi in front of the Baha'i House of Worship (Lotus Temple) New Delhi, India.

Nancy Lee Cecil
Reno, Nevada - Bahá'í Teacher
Nancy has spent her entire working life as a teacher— first of young children and then at California State University Sacramento (CSUS) as a professor of literacy. She has taught in upstate New York, the inner city of Savannah Georgia, and for five years in St.Croix in the Virgin Islands, where she learned what it was like to be a member of a minority. She was also a writer, a literacy consultant, and a local, national, and international speaker on multicultural literacy, having written, among other texts, Teaching Multicultural Awareness through Children’s Literature and Raising Peaceful Children in a Violent World.
Nancy has been a Bahá’í since college. She has been married for 36 years and raised two children who were adopted as older children. She has mentored emancipated youth and created a program for them at CSUS. Two years ago Nancy moved to Reno and is enjoying the river, the mountains, and the walkability of the downtown area. Nancy also loves her new Reno Bahá’í community.
